Mary was born after 1681 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. She was not yet 18 years when her father wrote his will on 25 March 1697.
s. On 25 March 1697, her father left her ten pounds & one good feather bed with furniture belonging to her when she turns 18 years old. On 25 January 1708/1709, her mother left her, "Mary Devel", six shillings. Mary married Joseph Davol, son of Jonathan Davol and Hannah Audley, in 1699.2 Mary received from the will of her father in 1706, the following items: Books and apparel worth 8 pounds, a bed, a pair worsted combs (cards), pewter, a warming-pan, a cow, a lamb, and a hogshead of cider. Mary's husband, Joseph, died in 1726 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts, leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life on Friday, 17 June 1729 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
