     Gysbert was born in the City, County & State of New York. On 24 September 1699, he was christened at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York. The witnesses were Isaac Stoutenburg & Wiiemtje Klaas, wife of Gysbert Uytenbogert.2 Gysbert married, daughter of Joost Paalding and Catharina Hans Duyts, on 26 November 1720 at the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York.3 Gysbert departed this life in New York.4,5 He was buried in the New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church in the City, County & State of New York.5
