Hannah Moore

     Hannah was born in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Moore and Sarah Jackson. Hannah married John Terry, son of Richard Terry and Abigail Lines, before 1698 in the Town of Southold. The 1698 New York State Census enumerates the family of John Terry, Hannah & John Jr. John and Hannah had children: John Jr., Samuel, Richard, Robert, Sarah, Hannah & Abigail. Hannah's husband, John, died on 27 April 1733 in the Town of Southold leaving her a widow.¹ Hannah departed this life on Tuesday, 28 August 1753 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
