He was christened on the same day there in the church of St-Joseph.¹ Ambroise married Julie Rivard dit Lanouette, daughter of Pierre Charles Rivard dit Lanouette and Marie-Josephe Declos, on 16 February 1813 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade, Champlain County, Quebec, Canada, at Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade Church.^2,3 Ambroise departed this life between 25 October 1836 and 14 September 1846 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade. He was living when his daughter, Eleonore died & and noted as deceased when his wife, Julie dies. Ambroise was probably laid to rest in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade.
