Gabriel was born in 1587 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. In April 1635, Gabriel left from Lydd, County Kent, England aboard the ship, "Elizabeth", bound for New England. He was accompanied to America by his brothers: William & David. They arrived later in 1635.. Gabriel married 2nd Joanna Bates. He was made a freeman in Dorchester on 2 May 1638. Gabriel made his will on 18 January 1654. He mentions his wife, Joanna and their children. Gabriel departed this life on Friday, 12 March 1666 in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. His will was probated on 17 July 1667.
