Pierre Menard

M, b. 1672, d. 26 May 1746
     Pierre was born in 1672 in St-Ours, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada.1 Pierre married Suzanne Laporte, daughter of Jacques Laporte dit St-Georges and Marie Nicole Duchesne, on 21 January 1695 in Contrecoeur, Vercheres County, Quebec, Canada, at Tres Ste-Trinitie Church.2 Pierre's wife, Suzanne, died on 27 October 1743 in Contrecoeur leaving him a widower. Pierre departed this life on Thursday, 26 May 1746 in Contrecoeur. He was buried there in the churchyard of Tres Ste-Trinitie on Friday, 27 May 1746.3
