     Marie Francoise was born on Tuesday, 5 June 1753 in Fort Saint-Frederic, Quebec, Canada.1 Marie Francoise married Pierre Charland on 27 April 1778 in Lanoraie, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Joseph Church.2 Pierre and Marie Francoise had children: Marie Francoise [5/07/1779-10/10/1779], Marie Francoise [8/21/1780][m. 2/21/1814 Jean Baptiste Branconnier], child [3/1782-6/02/1782], Pierre [3/24/1784-5/01/1811][m. 4/25/1808 Francoise Ballard dit Latour], Genevieve 5/26/1788-7/06/1788], Antoine [10/18/1789-2/18/1796], Germain [9/27/1791], Francoise Xavier [5/10/1793-6/25/1793], Antoine [5/04/1795-2/18/1796], Marie Judith [5/26/1797-9/16/1797] & Jean Baptiste [m. 8/31/1824 Gertrude Truthner].3 Marie's husband, Pierre, died on 20 February 1819 in Ste-Elisabeth, Joliette County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. Marie departed this life on Wednesday, 7 January 1829 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. She was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Genevieve on Friday, 9 January 1829.4
