Lydia was born. Lydia married Christopher Townsend, son of Thomas Townsend I, before 1760 in New York. Lydia's maiden name maybe Doty or Doughty but there is no proof. Lydia's husband, Christopher, died before 22 March 1809 in Frederick, Southeast Town, leaving her a widow.
