Marie-Anne Trottier dit Beaubien

     She was christened on the same day there in St-Antoine-de-Padoue Church.1 Marie-Anne was born in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Michel Trottier dit Beaubien & Therese Mouet. Marie-Anne married Joseph Caillas, son of Pierre Caillas and Marie-Therese Aure, on 16 August 1739 in Nicolet, Nicolet County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Jean-Baptiste Church.2 Joseph & Marie-Anne had children: Joseph [7/04/1740-1/10/1810][m. 1/30/1764 Therese Lefebvre & 2nd 11/03/1767 Elisabeth Boudreau], Antoine [2/24/1742-8/21/1822][m. 3/02/1767 Marie Catherine & 2nd 2/03/1777 Catherine-Antoinette Vanasse], Marie-Josephe [4/08/1746-2/11/1797][m. 11/06/1766 Michel Martel], Marie-Catherine [6/02/1748-1/18/1834][m. 10/20/1777 Joseph Houde], Louis-Joseph [10/29/1753-2/04/1820][m. 2/23/1784 Josephe Vanasse dit Precourt & 2nd 10/08/1810 Francoise Lebeau] & Marie Angelique [1758-1/10/1818][m. 2/07/1780 Michel Hamel].3 Marie-Anne's husband, Joseph, died before 30 January 1764 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow; He is listed as deceased on the marriage record of his son, Joseph, on this date. Marie-Anne departed this life on Wednesday, 17 April 1776 in Baie-du-Febvre, Nicolet County, Quebec, Canada, at age 58 years, 6 months and 26 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antoine-de-Padoue on Friday, 19 April 1776.4
