John de was born. John married Hawise Botetourt, daughter of John Botetourt and Maud fitz Thomas, before 1320 in England. John was a knight, he was of Clifton and Woodmanton (both in Clifton upon Teme), Churchhill,Lower Sapy and Wolverton (in Stoulton), Worcestershire, Redhall (in Burstow), Surrey, and Clayton Wickham, Sussex. He was esquire to the King, Steward of the Household of King Edward II, Justice of North Wales, Senechal of Guyenne. In 1321 Hawise's parents conveyed the manor of Shelsley Beauchamp, Worcestershire to them, and later in 1322 her father gave them the manor of Ellingham , Norfolk. In 1328, John received a grant of free warren from the King in Clifton, Lower Sapy, and Shelsley Beauchamp. John departed this life before 16 November 1332 in England.
