William was born circa 1580 in Pettistree, County Suffolk, England. William married Mary Durrante on 21 May 1601 in Pettistree, County Suffolk, England.¹ Sometime after the birth of their daughter, the family removed from County Suffolk and by 1614 were established in Leyden, Netherlands. In 1619, William, a weaver became a member of the burghers and his guarantors being William Bradford and Alexander Price. William departed this life between 1619 and 1629 in Leyden.
