     Jean-Baptiste was born in 1668 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. Jean-Baptiste married Genevieve Trottier on 5 September 1703 in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Francois-Xavier Church.1 Jean-Baptiste & Genevieve had children: Joseph [8/14/1704-5/22/1710], Marie-Josephte [1/06/1707-3/16/1733], Catherine [10/25/1709-6/25/1785][m. 8/28/1730 Joseph Aubuchon], Jean-Baptiste [11/26/1711-9/21/1787][m. 8/28/1738 Marie-Josephte Cotnoir], Joseph-Antoine [12/15/1713-5/03/1756][m. 1/13/1733 Marie-Catherine Cotnoir], Leon-Charles [10/14/1715-6/05/1761], Francois [5/30/1718][m. 10/29/1743 Francoise Grenier], Jean-Alexis [7/22/1720-6/04/1806][m. 2/05/1747 Genevieve Duteau & 2nd 2/14/1757 Marie-Francoise Guevremont] & Gervais-Marie [3/20/1722-12/06/1791][m. 1/13/1743 Marie-Anne Loiseau].2 Jean-Baptiste departed this life in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of La Visitation on Saturday, 30 June 1731.3
