Francois Beaudoin

     Francois was born in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 30 January 1678 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal at the church of St-Enfant-Jesus.¹ Francois married Anne-Andree Grenette, daughter of Francois Grenette and Marie du Coudre, on 12 June 1702 in Ile-Jesus, Laval County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Francois-de-Sales Church.² Francois & Anne had children: Marie-Anne [6/05/1703-3/24/1704], Anne-Francoise [1/19/1705][m. 11/09/1722 Francois Payet Stamour], Jean-Baptiste [2/22/1707-3/19/1733][m. 11/24/1732 Charlotte Toin], Marie-Charlotte [3/28/1709-6/24/1733][m. 4/17/1730 Jean-Baptiste Toin], Germain [6/22/1711-10/02/1712], Francois [9/01/1713-10/04/1713], Joseph [2/11/1715-12/06/1802][m. 11/10/1740 Catherine Bricaud], Marie-Josephe [8/04/1717][m. 1/30/1736 Antoine Hunau & 2nd 11/18/1748 Pierre Veaudry], Francois [8/15/1720-12/15/1729], Nicolas [3/20/1723-4/27/1798][m. 1/18/1746 Marie-Anne Janotte & 2nd 7/03/1752 Marie-Charlotte Heneau] & Pierre [7/23/1727][m. 2/12/1748 Marie-Rosalie Daout, 2nd 11/08/1762 Marguerite Beaudry & 3rd 11/13/1769 Charlotte Beaudry].³ Francois's wife, Anne-Andree, died circa 21 December 1752 in Repentigny, leaving him a widower. Francois departed this life in Repentigny, L'Assomption County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the cemetery of the Purificaton-de-la-Blessed-Virgin-Mary on Tuesday, 16 April 1754.⁴
