     Harmon was born in 1570 in Sanderstead Court, County Surrey, England. Harmon married Elizabeth Lawrence on 6 February 1598 in London, County Middlesex, England, at St Mary Magdalene Old Fish Street with Saint Gregory By Saint Paul.1 Harmon & Elizabeth had children: John [chr. 5/28/1599] [m. Joan Bartlett], Owenstead [__-1643], Olive [1602-1603] & Anna [chr. 8/19/1604].2,3,4 On 9 August 1600, Harmon inherited two-thirds of the estate in Surrey of his cousin, John Ownstead [whose mother was an Atwood]. Later, he purchased the remaining third of the estate from John's two sisters, Ann wife of Robert Kneppe of Mitcham and Joyce wife of Alexander Holloway of Crowhurst.5 Harmon's wife, Elizabeth, died in 1604 in Sanderstead Court leaving him a widower. Harmon married 2nd Joan King on 19 August 1605 in Chiselhurst, County Kent, England, at St. Nicolas Church.6 Harmon & Joan had children: Susan [chr. 6/09/1606-1659], Kinge [chr. 8/16/1607-1674][m. Elizabeth Brook], Harmon [chr. 12/16/1608-1676] [m. 4/12/1632 Bridgett Smithwick], Thomas [chr. 2/11/1611-1650][m. Joan], Olive [chr. 3/20/1614-1681] & John [chr. 1/07/1617-1675].3,2,4 Harmon departed this life in 1653 in Sanderstead Court at age 83 years.3 He was buried there in All Saints Church or Chancel.7
