Jean married Marie-Angelique Pinard, daughter of Louis Pinard and Marie-Madeleine Hertel, in 1697.¹ Jean departed this life on Saturday, 11 August 1703 in St-Francois-du-Lac at age 30 years. He was buried there in the cemetery of St-Francois-du-Lac on Saturday, 11 August 1703.²
