Marie-Josephe Michon

     Marie-Josephe was born in 1759 in Montmagny, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Jean Marie Michon and Marie Josephe Picard. Marie-Josephe married Jean-Baptiste Ayotte, son of Ignace Ayotte and Anne-Francoise Lecuyer dit Laneuville, on 26 February 1781 in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, at St-Antoine-de-la-Riviiere-du-Loup Church.¹ Jean-Baptiste & Marie-Josephte had children: Josephe Marie [7/31/1783][m. 9/15/1801 Alexis Martin dit Barabe], Louis [1/05/1785-10/24/1830][m. 2/01/1813 Josephe Meyer dit Christian], Marie Anne [4/01/1786-12/11/1816][m. 2/10/1806 Francois Thibodeau], Joseph [6/14/1788][m. 1/26/1818 Julie Rainville & 2nd. 2/19/1824 Rose Rousseau], Marie [9/28/1790-6/01/1792], Jean Baptiste [10/27/1792-9/18/1840], Marie [11/30/1793][m. 1/24/1814 Samuel Davis] & Pierre [3/03/1795]. Marie-Josephe departed this life on Tuesday, 4 April 1820 in Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada, at age 61 years. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Thursday, 6 April 1820.²
