Jacques Maugras

It notes he was from Ligny-le-Chasteau, Bourgogne & his parents: Claude Mogras & Francoise Flaugny. It notes she was daughter of Quentin Moral de St-Quentin & Marie Marguerie.¹ Jacques & Marie-Jeanne had children: Marie-Jeanne [1670][m. 1/08/1690 Pierre Gamelin dit Chateauvieux], Marie-Francoise [5/01/1673-5/26/1673], Marguerite [8/22/1674-9/28/1746][m. Enumerated in this household were Jacques Maugras [42 years], his wife: Jeanne Moral [29 years], Marie [12 years], Marguerite [2 years] & Robert Maxime [32 years].³ Jacques departed this life on Monday, 27 March 1690 in Salmon Falls, New Brunswick, Canada. [now Burwick, Maine] He was part of a raid, under the command of Joseph-Francois Hertel, against the English in which he was killed.
