He was christened there on 27 July 1751 in Ste-Genevieve Church.1 Jean-Bapiste married Ursule Masse on 20 January 1783 in Berthierville at Ste-Genevieve Church.2 Jean Baptiste & Ursule had children: Jean Baptist [11/05/1785], Joseph Ambroise [4/2/1787], Francois [9/15/1788-12/31/1788], Catherine [10/15/1789], Angele [1790-3/19/1795], Francois [11/04/1791], Ursule [4/15/1796-4/27/1796], Amable 10/24/1798-2/04/1881][m. 10/30/1820 Angelique Robert], Alexis [5/12/1800-2/04/1802].3,4,5 Jean-Bapiste departed this life on Sunday, 24 February 1833 in Berthierville at age 81 years, 6 months and 29 days. He was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Genevieve on Tuesday, 26 February 1833.6
