     Samuel was born circa 1645 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Samuel married Rebecca Andrews on 7 July 1678 in Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1 Samuel made his will on 20 March 1719. He mentions his wife, Rebecca, his eldest son, Samuel, who gets his great bible, his 2nd son, Thomas, deceased & his son Samuel. He mentions his two youngest sons: Nathaniel & Abraham as heirs to his son Thomas. It also mentions his daughters: Rebecca & Ester.2 Samuel departed this life before 15 April 1719 in Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut. His will was probated on 15 April 1719. The inventory of Samuel's estate was taken on Monday, 17 April 1719. His inventory was valued at £ 185 11 s 5 p.2
