Enumerated in this household were John Kerfman [36 Ohio], Catharine [31 Ohio], Rebecca [14 Ohio], James [12 Ohio], Susanna [4 Ohio], Lydia [3 Ohio] & Lewis [3/12 Ohio].² 15 June 1860, Catharine and her husband John were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Toledo Township, Tama County, Iowa. Enumerated in this household were J Corfman [47 Ohio], C [42 Ohio], J [19 Ohio], S [15 Ohio], L [13 Ohio], L. M. [11 Ohio], M [8 Ohio], E [5 Iowa] & G B [3 Iowa].³ 25 June 1870, Catharine and her husband, John, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Toledo Township, Tama County, Iowa. Enumerated in this household were John [56 Ohio], Catharine [52 Ohio], Susannah [24 Ohio], Matilda [18 Ohio], Elizabeth [16 Ohio], Lewis [21 Ohio] & Elmer E [7 Iowa].⁴ Catharine departed this life on Sunday, 30 July 1876 in Toledo Township at age 58 years, 1 month and 8 days. She was buried there in Woodlawn Cemetery. The inscription on her stone reads: Catherine Corfman June 22, 1818 - July 30, 1876.
