Francoise-Louise was born circa 1642 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France, at the parish of St-Eustache. She was the daughter of Jacques Huchet & Marie Daunais. In the spring of 1664, Francoise-Louise left her home in France, as one of the "Filles de Roi" aboard the ship, "St-Jean-Baptiste de Dieppe", under the command of Captain Pierre le Moyne, departing from Dieppe. Her uncle & aunt, Charles Danet & Marie Deshates, accompanied her. She brought with her a dowry of 500 libres They arrived at Quebec the 30th of June..1,2,3 A contract for the marriage of Guilaume Bonhomme & Francoise-Louise Huchet was signed on 12 October 1664. It was drawn up by notary Duket.3 Francoise-Louise married Guilaume Bonhomme, son of Nicolas Bonhomme and Catherine Gouget, on 30 October 1664 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.4 Guillaume and Francoise had childrfen: Nicolas [10/24/1665-1/16/1711][m. 1/26/1695 Marie Louise Cloutier], Guillaume [12/12/1667-3/18/1725], Marie Francoise [1/16/1669], Marie Anne [2/07/1670-6/02/1714][m. 10/25/1693 Jean Montigny], Marguerite Francoise [1/29/1674], Marie Madeleine [6/24/1675], Francois [12/03/1677-6/07/1751][m. 2/16/1722 Marie Anne Josephe Larue], Catherine [3/13/1679], Marie Catherine Josephe [7/13/1680-7/181717][m. 6/25/1704 Sebastien Leonard dit Dubois], Jean 3/30/1682] & Marie Agnes [1684][m. 2/07/1708 Noel Roulois].5 1666, Francoise-Louise and her husband, Guilaume, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Guillaume Bonhomme [38 years], Francoise Hache [35 years], Nicolas [16 years], Anne [12 years], Joseph [9 years], Madeleine [6 years] & Guillaume [3 years].8 Francoise-Louise departed this life on Tuesday, 12 May 1699 in ville de Quebec. She was buried there in the Notre Dame Cemetery on Wednesday, 13 May 1699.9
