Enumerated in this household were David Wood [73 New Jersey] & Maria [66 New York]. He is a gardner.5 Mariah's husband, an unknown person , died on 16 November 1881 in Smith Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, leaving her a widow. Mariah departed this life on Wednesday, 15 October 1884 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 69 years, 7 months and 17 days.6
