William and Sarah had two daughters: Elizabeth an Hannah. Sarah's husband, William, died before 13 May 1657 in the Town of Southold leaving her a widow. Sarah married John Conklin II on 2 December 1657 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. John & Sarah had children: Sarah, Rachel, Mary, Joseph, John, Henry, Thomas, & Elizabeth. They were all born at Southold.

His widow married second December 1657 Captain John Concklyne, doubtless his only wife & mother of all his children. She is erroneously supposedly to have married John Concklyne of the third generation for his wife Sarah was born in 1664.
