Moses Fiske1

M, b. 12 April 1642, d. August 1708
     Moses was born on Saturday, 12 April 1642 in Wenham, Essex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Rev. John Fiske and Ann Gibbs. Moses married, daughter of William Symmes and Mary Sparhawk, the 7th day of 9th month 1672 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.2 Moses & Sarah had children: Mary [8/25/1673-3/29/1711] [m.Rev. Joseph Baxter, minister of Metfield], Sarah [9/22/1674] [m. Rev. Thomas Ruggles], Martha [11/25/1675-11/28/1675], Anne [8/17/1677-6/09/1678], Anne [10/29/1678] [m. 6/30/1709 Rev. Joseph Marsh], Elizabeth [10/09/1679] [m. Mr. Porter], Moses [7/19/1682], John [5/29/1681-8/05/1681], William [8/02/1686], John [11/26/1684], Samuel 2/19/1687-3/04/1687], Samuel [4/06/1689], Ruth [3/24/1691-6/06/1692] & Edward [10/20/1692-10/25/1692].3 The family resided at Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.4 Moses's wife, Sarah, died on 2 December 1692 in Braintree leaving him a widower.4,5 He married as his second wife, Ann Shepard, on 7 Jan 1700; she was the widow of Daniel Quincy. She died 24 July 1708. Less than 3 weeks later, Moses died in August 1708 in Braintree.4
