     Nicholas was born circa 1515 in Laxfield, County Suffolk, England. Nicholas married Johane Crispe before 20 November 1552 in Laxfield. They were noted as married in Johane's father, William Crispe's will of that date.4 Nicholas & Johane had children: William [before 1/23/1554-1580][m. Helen Payne], Amos [m. 10/17/1574 Mary Girling], Rachel, Hester [d. 1579], Martha [m. 11/02/1609 Robert Golding] & Mary [m. a0/16/1586 Anthony Fisher].5,6 They first resided in Laxfield, but moved to Dennington, County Suffolk by 1567. Nicholas made his will on 20 August 1569.

Nicholas is of Dennington, County Suffolk, to be buried in Dinnington Churchyard. To my wife, Johane, my father-in-law, William Crispe of Laxfield, my four children: Rachel, Ester, Mary & Martha. To my son, William & my wife, Johane, his mother and my son, Amos Fiske, It was witnessed by John Fiske, the elder & John Fiske, the younger.7,6

Nicholas departed this life in Dennington. His will was probated on 28 September 1569.

    She mentions Hester & Agnes Fiske iii pounds vj s. viij d. She gives to John Fiske, son of my daughter, Margaret Fiske xx s. at his age of xxiiij yeres and to everyone of her other children vj s. viij d. She bequeathes to William Fiske, son of Nycholas Fiske and Johan my daughter v s. viij d. to be paid to him at his age of xxj yeres , To Nycholas Fiske, my son-in-law, my greatest cawdron. Margaret Fiske, my daugher, the greatest brass pan and my cupborde & the cuporde to her daughter, Margaret when she gets married. I give to John Fiske, my nephew, a feather bed and bolster.
