Barbara married Jacob Stover on 30 March 1837 in Crawford County, Ohio.2 Jacob and Barbara had children: Henry [1/11/1836-7/8/1861], Magdelene [1840-1901][m. John S. Baumgardner], John C [1/31/1842-6/21/1861], Sarah Ann 9/27/1845-1/27/1847], Emily J. [1848], Maria S. [4/02/1852-8/04/1897], Wesley [7/21/1853-3/12/1855] & James [4/03/1857-12/30/1879].3 3 August 1850, Barbara and her husband, Jacob, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Tymochtee Township, Wyandot County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Jacob Stover [41 Ohio], Barbara [32 Ohio], Henry [12 Ohio], Magdelene [10 Ohio], John [8 Ohio] & Emily J. [2 Ohio]. Jacob was listed as a farmer with real estate valued at $2250.4 Barbara's husband, Jacob, died on 24 February 1860 in Tymochtee Township leaving her a widow. 17 June 1860, Barbara was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Tymochtee Township. Enumerated in this household were Barbara Stover [42 Ohio], John 18 [Ohio], Emily [12 Ohio], Maria [7 Ohio] & James [3 Ohio].5 5 August 1870, Barbara was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Tymochtee Township. Enumerated in this household were Barbara Stover [52 Ohio], Emily J [22 Ohio], Maria [18 Ohio], James M. [13 Ohio], Charlotte [9 Ohio] & farm Laborer: Lafette Stagemalt [23 Ohio]. Barbara was listed as a farmer and claimed real estate of $7000 and personal property of $800. She is also listed as being unable to read or write.6 11 June 1880, Barbara was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at the Village of Bellevernon, Tymochtee Township. Enumerated in this household were Barbara [63 Ohio], daughter Maria S. [28 Ohio] & grand daughter Charlotte [19 Ohio].7 Barbara made her will on 19 May 1896.
In the name of the Benevolent Father of all amen, I Barbara Stover of the township of Seneca, County of Seneca and the State of Ohio being about 78 years of age and being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all other last wills and testaments by me made heretofore.
First – My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid out of my estate as soon after my death as shall be found convenient.
Second – I give and bequeath to Maria Stover the house and lot in Seneca Township, Seneca County and State of Ohio. Also the following Personal property, One [1] cook stove, One [1] room stove and One [1] extension Table. Also her the One [1] third of all of the Household Goods and Moneys and all provisions that I may have at the time of my Death.
It is my will that the heirs of Mary M. Baumgardner have one [1] third of all Moneys and personal property that may be coming to me at the time of my Death. It is also my will that John Baumgardner have one [1] third of the above moneys of the heirs of said Mary M. Baumgardner.
3rd – It is my will that Everett S. Walker is to have the one [1] third of Balance of all Moneys and Personal Property that I may have at the time of my Death and also twenty Five yards of Carpet two [2] Quilts One v [1] Cover Lid and goose fill bed and bedding. It is to be understood or my will that said Everett S. Walker that said goods moneys are to be held in trust by Geo. W. Walker for said Everett S. Walker shall arrive at the age of Twenty one years.
4th – It is also my will if said Everett S. Walker shall not Live till he arrive at the age of twenty one years then the said Moneys arriving from my real and Personal Estate shall be Equally divided between Maria S. Stover and the heirs of John Baumgardner.
I hereby nominate and appoint George W. Staller of Tymochtee Township, Wyandot County, Ohio to be my executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof I have set my hand to this my Last lwill and Testament at McCuthinville, Ohio, this NInetenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Six

Barbara departed this life on Saturday, 23 January 1897 in the Village of Bellevernon at age 78 years, 5 months and 13 days. She was buried there in Bibler Cemetery.
