Henry was born circa 1343 in County Essex, England. Henry married Joanne Welles, daughter of William Welles, in County Essex, England. Henry was the heir to his father's vast estate. He inherited the the Manors of Sutton, Beneflete, Coldham, Coggeshall, Samhill, Hokewell, Ailsford, Fratyng Thoriton, Pagesham, & Roghir. In addition, he owned land in the towns of Bokkyngg [Bocking], Feryngg, County Essex. He died 49 Edward III [1327-1377] & was buried at Coggeshall.
