     Richard was born in Plainsfield, in the parish of Over Stowey, Somersetshire, England. He was christened there on 1 January 1563 in St. Peter & St. Paul Church.2 Richard & his 1st wife had children: Elizabeth [bapt. 10/26/1586] & Richard [bapt. 1/29/1589]. His wife's name is unknown. She must have died soon after the birth of their son, Richard, leaving him a widow.1 Richard married 2nd Grace Napcott on 25 May 1589 in Over Stowey at St. Peter & St. Paul Church.3 Richard & Grace had children: Peter [1/06/1591-1/09/1591], James [1/12/1592], Joan [4/01/1593], Humphrey [12/14/1595], Anne [7/16/1598], John [5/15/1603] & Charity 2/02/1607. The above dates are all baptizmal dates at Over Stowey.4 Richard departed this life in Stogumber, Somersetshire, England. He was buried on 24 April 1620 at Over Stowey in St. Peter & St. Paul Churchyard.2
