Harold & Ruby [Beery] Bogan
     Ruby May was born on Tuesday, 20 December 1904 in Upper Sandusky, Crane Township, Wyandot County, Ohio. Ruby May married Harold William Bogan on 19 April 1931 in Liberty Township. Harold and Ruby had one daughter, Vivian May [5/31/1932-2/11/1937]. 8 April 1940, Harold and Ruby was listed on the U.S. Federal Census at Holmes Township [at L2]. Enumerated in this household were George Steinhilber [58 Ohio], Harold Bogan [36 Ohio], Ruby Bogan [35 Ohio]. Harold was working on the farm for 26 weeks and was making $200.1 Ruby's husband, Harold, died on 22 August 1955 in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio, leaving her a widow. Ruby departed this life on Tuesday, 21 January 1992 in Bucyrus at age 87 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Ruby M. Bogan, 87, E. Mansfield Street, died at 2:04 p.m. Monday Jan. 20, 1992, in Bucyrus Community Hospital.
Mrs. Bogan was born Dec. 20, 1904, in Upper Sandusky, to the late Roy S. and Bertha [Smith] Beery. She was married April 26, 1931, to Harold W. Bogan, who preceded her in death Aug. 22, 1955.
Surviving her are three sisters-in-law, Ruby Beery of Bucyrus, Betty Beery of Akron, and Rebecca Hill of Bucyrus, several nieces and nephews, two sisters, Thelma Blackledge of Akron and Ilene Stoffer of Bucyrus, and a brother-in-law Roscoe Stoffer of Bucyrus. Preceding her in death were two brothers, Chester and Raymond Beery, a daughter Vivian Bogan, and a sister Lela McCurdy.
A homemaker, Mrs. Bogan helped take care of sick and elderly people. She spent most of her life in the Bucyrus area and was a member of the Zion Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wise Funeral Home. The Rev. Lynda K. Masters will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call this evening at the funeral home from 7-9 and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Those wo wish to do so may make memorial contributions to the Zion Chapel United Methodist Church through the funeral home.

She was buried there in Oakwood Cemetery.2
