[28 Ohio], Harriett [20 Ohio].² 11 June 1880, Lydia and her husband, John, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Mifflin Township. Enumerated in this household were John A. Brown [44 Ohio]. his wife: Lydia [44 Ohio], children: Austin W. [20 Ohio]. Laura [17 Ohio], Eliza A. [15 Ohio], & his brother: Jacob [35 Ohio].³ Lydia's husband, John, died in 1899 in Wyandot County, Ohio, leaving her a widow. 1 June 1900, the U.S. Federal Census listed Lydia living in the home of her son at Upper Sandusky, Crane Township. She is listed as living on a farm next to her son Austin.⁶ Lydia departed this life on Tuesday, 28 May 1929 at age 93 years and 1 month.⁷ She was buried there in Oak Hill Cemetery.
