     Christopher was born in 1535 in Rougham, County Norfolk, England. He attended Queens’ in Cambridge in 1550 and entered Gray's Inn in 1552. He was one of the judges of the King's Bench.3 Christopher married Mary Catesby circa 1560. Christopher and Mary had children: Henry [6/29/1566-1/24/1629] [m. Margaret Beale], Christopher & 4 sisters. In 1578, he acquired the village of Easton Maudit and settled there. Christopher's wife, Mary, died in 1611 in Easton Maudit, Northamptonshire, England, leaving him a widower. Christopher departed this life on Wednesday, 31 October 1612 in Easton Maudit, Northamptonshire, England. He was buried at Easton Maudit, Northamptonshire, England, in the St. Peter and St. Paul Church. Letters of Administration of his estate were granted on 7 November 1612 to his son, Henry..
