Hugh Turvile1

     Hugh was born. Hugh married Agnes (?). Hugh departed this life on Monday, 9 October 1347. He was buried at Leicestershire, England, in the Church at Thurlston. He and his wife have memorial effigies within the church. The inscription on Hugh's reads, "Here lies Hugh Turvile who died on the Feast of Saint Demis, 1347.2

He m. Cecily [Note: Berk has chosen the wrong brother as the direct line of decent. The correct line is with his brother William. Also, as can be seen from the effigies at the church, Hugh's wife was Agnes, not Cecily. - KLM].
