     Freelove was born on Saturday, 29 December 1674 in the Town of Oyster Bay, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Freelove married Thomas Jones of Rhode Island circa 1698 in Rhode Island. Thomas & Freelove had children: David [1699][m. Ann Willett], Thomas [d. drowned], William [4/25/1708][m. Phebe Jackson, d/o Col. John Jackson], Margaret [m. Ezekiel Smith], Sarah [m. Gerardus Clowes], Elizabeth [m. Jeremiah Mitchell] & Freelove [m. Thomas Smith]. She married second, Maj. Timothy Badgley. Freelove departed this life in July 1726 in Fort Neck, Queens County, Long Island, New York. She was buried at Fort Neck. In 1836, her grave was moved to the Floyd-Jones Cemetery in Massapequa, Nassau County, New York. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Here lyes inter'd the body of Freelove Bagley daughter of Capt'n. Thomas Townsend of Rhode Island first married to Maj'r. Thomas Jones after his death to Maj'r.Timothy Bagley. She died July 1726.2
