Hannah was born on Wednesday, 1 January 1659 in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut.¹ Hannah married Reverand Samuel Mather, son of Timothy Mather and Catherine Atherton, circa 1676 in New Haven County, Connecticut. She and Samuel were blessed with 9 children. Hannah departed this life on Thursday, 8 March 1707/8 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was buried at Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut, in Palisado Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: Here lyeth buried Mrs. Hannah Mather, Consort of ye Rev'D MR Sam'l Mather, who dyed March 8th Anno Domini 1707-08. AE 47 -- Duce Par.²
