Elizabeth Tibault

F, b. 16 March 1673, d. 12 June 1756
     Elizabeth was born on Thursday, 16 March 1673 in Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre, Cote-de-Beaupre, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Francois Tibault & Elisabeth Agnes Lefeuvre. She was christened there on 20 March 1673 in the chapel of Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre.1 Elizabeth married Jacques Belanger, son of Francois Belanger and Marie Guyon, on 22 November 1691 in Cap St-Ignace, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada, at St-Ignace Church.2 Jacques and Elisabeth had children: Francois [11/05/1693-4/27/1733][m. 10/24/1716 Genevieve Doyon], Pierre [10/11/1695-10/19/1695], Marie Anne [10/11/1696-1731][m. 6/01/1722 Pierre Pellerin] & Jacques [4/07/1699][m. 1/21/1726 Marie Therese Pelletier].3 Elizabeth's husband, Jacques, died circa 17 August 1699 in L'Islet, L'Islet County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. She remarried on 3 May 1700, Martin Rousseau. Elizabeth departed this life on Saturday, 12 June 1756 in L'Islet at age 83 years, 2 months and 27 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours on Monday, 14 June 1756.4
