     Frances was born in Bartlow, Cambridgeshire, England. She had a brother, Thomas Slany, haberdasher of London.1 She was christened there on 25 March 1586 in Parish Church of Bartlow.2 Frances married Richard Olmsted I, son of James Olmsted and Jane Bristow, on 3 November 1606 in Bartlow at Parish Church of Bartlow.3,4 Frances departed this life before 10 September 1630 in Fairsted, County Essex, England. She was buried at Fairsted, County Essex, England.5
