Josiah Royce

     Josiah was born on Saturday, 14 February 1670/71 in New London, New London County, Connecticut. He was the son of Samuel & Hannah [Churchill] Royce. Josiah married Elizabeth Parker, daughter of John Parker and Hannah Bassett, on 24 May 1693 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut.1 Josiah & Elizabeth had one son, Ebenezer [1694- ]. Josiah departed this life in 1694 in Wallingford at age 22 years.
