Ruth Fairbanks1

     Ruth was born in England. Ruth married Robert Field I, son of William Field I and Susan Midgley, on 23 November 1624 in Halifax, Halifax Parish at St. John the Baptist Church.2 It is assumed Ruth died before before 1629 in Sowerby, Halifax Parish, Yorkshire, England, as her husband was remarried on this date. It is quite possible she died from complications of childbirth.
