Adella Viola Duffey

     Adella was born on Tuesday, 1 July 1879 at Quenemo, Osage County, Kansas. She was the daughter of M. D. & Jane [Hull] Duffey. Her religious name was Della. Adella married Thomas McCurdy, son of Benjamin Peter Phillip Franklin McCurdy and Sarah Elsworth, on 23 October 1898 at Kansas. Thomas was a farmer. Della was a resident of Franklin County, Kansas her entire life. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Ottawa. 1915, Adella was listed on the Kansas State Census. Enumerated in this household were Adella McCurdy [35 Kansas], Letha [15 Kansas], Villeta [13 Kansas], Floyd [11 Kansas], Lela [8 Kansas], Ella [5 Kansas], Clifford [3 Kansas]. Adella married George Duvall in 1920 at Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas. Adella departed this life 4 January 1949 Wednesday at at Richmond, Franklin County, Kansas..
