John was born circa 1775 in Path Valley, Fannett Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. John married Elizabeth Brown before 1812 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. John departed this life before 18 November 1812 in Path Valley, Fannett Township. On this date, letters of Administration to his estate were granted to Joseph Brown & Richard Childerstone.
Additional Notes: It has been concluded that John was married to Elizabeth Brown after examining many different records. Elizabeth was first married to Philp Evert having three daughters that in 1818 were under 14 years making the eldest born no earlier than 1805. John quite possibly had a first wife and children by her who inherited his estate. No records of his estate are recorded. - klm.
