John was born on Friday, 7 July 1589 in Panfield, County Essex, England. John married Elizabeth (?) in England. John and Elizabeth had children: John, Elizabeth and possibly others. In his father's will dated 27 August 1631, he was bequeathed 40 pounds. The will states that if he were to die before receiving the full amount, his children John and Elizabeth, were to receive it. John departed this life between 27 August 1631 and 3 February 1633 in Hempstead, County Essex, England. That is between the writing of his father's will and the date of the inqusition in which he is noted as deceased. The inquisition was led to believe that he had a son, Thomas, which he did not.
