Joyce was born in Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire, England. On 21 August 1603, she was christened in Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire, England, at St. John the Baptist Church. Joyce married Thomas Golbert on 22 January 1624 in Northamptonshire, England. Thomas & Joyce had children: Elizabeth [cgr. 9/__/1626] & John [chr. 1631]. They were christened at Slapton in Northamptonshire. She probably died in childbirth with her last child in Slapton, Northamptonshire. She was not mentioned in her father's will & no further mention can be found of her.1
