     Timothy was born in 1628 in Much-Woolton, Lancastershire, England. Timothy married Elizabeth Atherton, daughter of Major General Humphrey Atherton and Mary Kennion, in 1649 in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.2 Timothy's wife, Elizabeth, died on 15 May 1678 in Dorchester leaving him a widower. Timothy married 2nd Elizabeth (?) on 28 March 1681 in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Timothy died on Sunday, 14 January 1684/85 in Dorchester at age 57 years as a result of a fall from a scaffold in a barn.3 He was buried there in the Dorchester North Burying Ground.4
