Marie-Jeanne Marchand

     Marie-Jeanne was born on Tuesday, 1 April 1698 in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Alexis Marchand & Marie-Catherine Rivard. She was christened on the same day there in St-Francois-Xavier Church.1 Marie-Jeanne married Louis-Mathurin Gouin, son of Mathurin Gouin and Marie-Madeleine Vienne, on 12 February 1720 in Batiscan at St-Francois-Xavier Church.2 Marie-Jeanne departed this life on Thursday, 20 March 1732 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade at age 33 years, 11 months and 19 days. She was buried there in the cemetery of Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade on Friday, 21 March 1732.3
