Johanna was born circa 1375 in County Essex, England. Johanna married William Danvers on 18 September 1394 in County Essex, England. It was on this day that by order of John Hadlee, the mayor & alderman, 100 marks was delivered to William by Angelus Christofre [step father of Joanna]. The marriage nay have occurred just prior to this date, William was of Berkshire.1
