     John was born before 8 September 1622 in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. He was the son of Edward & Mary Ketchum. John married 2nd Bethia Richardson, daughter of John Richardson and Martha Mead, on 26 February 1676.2 John & Bethia had children: Bethia [m. 6/20/1710 Joshua Reader & 2nd 1717 George Reynolds], Nathaniel [ -4/__/1832], Theophilus [1683][m. John departed this life in Newtown, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Letters of Administration of his estate were granted Letter of Administration were granted 17 May 1697..
