Anna Marie Selle, in 1737 in Shippack Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Johannes's wife, Anna, died on 10 September 1745 in Shippack Township leaving him a widower. On 27 November 1745, he purchased 64 1/2 acres from Gerhart In Den Hoffen. In 1753, he purchased another 49 1/2 in Shiptack from John Gross who had purchased it from Henry Zink. This was part of a tract owned at one time by Gerhart In Den Hoffen. In the 1756 census in Perkiomen Township [Skippack], Johannes had five children and owned 170 acres of land. On 20 Septenber 1763, he conveyed 64 1/2 acres to his son Peter. This was the same tract that he had purchased from Gerhart In Den Hoffen in 1745. About this time, he moved to Charlestown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. By this time, he was married to Catherine Jensen [Johnson], widow of Peter Jensen [Johnson]. Johannes married 2nd
