Phebe Ives

     Phebe was born before 2 October 1642 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was christened there on 2 October 1642 in the First Congregational Church.¹ Phebe married Joseph Potter in 1660 in New Haven.² Joseph and Phebe had children: Joseph [1661- ], Rebecca [1663- ],Phebe [1665-1738] & Joseph [1667-1742].¹ Phebe's husband, Joseph, died on 17 August 1669 in New Haven leaving her a widow. Phebe married 2nd John Rose in August 1670 in New Haven.^1,2 John and Phebe had children: Deborah [1671- ], Sarah [1673- ], Hannah [1676- ], John [1679- ] & Daniel [1683- ], all born in Branford, Connecticut.¹ Phebe's husband, John, died on 27 December 1672 in North Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Phebe departed this life in 1682 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut.¹ She was buried there in the Congregational Church Burial Ground.³
