Elizabeth was born circa 1580 in Nazeing, County Essex, England. Elizabeth married John Curtis, son of William Curtis and Agnes (?), on 19 April 1610 in Nazeing, County Essex, England, at All Saints Church.2 Elizabeth's husband, John, died in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, leaving her a widow. Elizabeth made her will at Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. She mentions her grandchildren: John & Jonathan Curtis, sons of John & William. She also gives to grandchildren: John, Israel, Jonathan & Sarah, children of said John & William, my house and lot when they come of age of twenty. She gives to grandchild, Mary Curtis, daughter of Thomas Curtis... She gives residue to sons: John & William ... She gives her bible to grandchild, John, son of John & a bible for Jonathan, son of William.3 Elizabeth departed this life before 4 June 1658 in Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Her will was probated on 4 June 1658.
