John Hollinger

     John was born in 1747 in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. John married Elisabeth Peterman, daughter of Johann Michael Peterman and Anna Maria (?), on 3 December 1776 in York Township, York County, Pennsylvania, at Trinity First Reformed Church. John and Elizabeth had at least one child, Jacob who was mentioned in Elizabeth's mother's will. John departed this life on Friday, 17 August 1792 in Maytown Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at age 45 years. He was buried at Maytown Township in the Maytown Reformed Church Cemetery. The inscribtion on his tombstone reads: In memory of John Hollinger - died 17 Aug 1792 - aged 45 years.¹
