James Pyne

     James was born before 4 June 1608 in Devonshire, England. On 4 June 1608, he was christened in Devonshire, England. This was at Woodbury, near Exeter in Devonshire. James married Edith Williams in September 1630 in Tauton, Somersetshire, England, at St. Mary Magdalen's Church. James was of Woodbury, Devonshire, England & of Stamford, Connecticut & Hempstead, New York. James departed this life before 13 June 1683 in Hempstead Town, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Richard Ellison makes mention of James Pine in his will probated 13 June 1683 - to Joshua Janock ten acres "in liew of cow James Pine left for his wife, which cow is long since dead." He probably died before 1670 as Sarah [Ellison] Jacock had become of age.
