Barbara Hite

F, b. 29 March 1785, d. 25 December 1855
     Barbara was born on Tuesday, 29 March 1785 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Andrew [24 February 1758 Virginia] & Anna [Taylor] [1758 Virginia] Hite.
Barbara married Johannes Bibler, son of Jacob Bibler I and Katharina Hite, on 17 November 1802 in Marion County, Ohio. John and Barbara had children: Samuel [2/23/1806-5/08/1880][m. 1/01/1826 Mary Perky, 2nd 11/04/1832 Mary Wyatt, & 3rd 1/29/1846 Mary Jane Sybrand], John A. [4/08/1815-10/08/1865][m. Hannah Hite], Barbara D. [1/15/1822-3/14/1879][m. Zepheniah Drake] and probably others.1 11 October 1850, Barbara and her husband, Johannes, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Grand Prairie Township, Marion County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were John Bibler [69 Virginia - farmer] & his wife: Barbara [66 Virginia].2 John was on the 1851 tax list in Grand Prairie Township as a farmer. Barbara departed this life on Tuesday, 25 December 1855 in Grand Prairie Township at age 70 years, 8 months and 26 days. She was buried there in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. The inscription on her stone reads:
Barbara wife of John Bibler died Dec. 25, 1855 aged 70 Y. 8 M. 25 D.
